Document Provision:Journal Articles - Location

Many of our online databases and journals now provide full text material. To find out if wehold a journal in either online or paper form - try the following searches:

Search 1

  • Go to the the electronic resources page at: http://www.lr.mdx.ac.uk/lib/eresources/index.htm
  • Click on eJournals .
  • Look for your journal on the A-Z list. If you know the full title of the journal, enter this in the search box. Remember that publications entitled 'Journal of .' or 'Journal of the..' will be listed under J.
  • Look for the issue you require. These details will appear in your citation.
  • Check for full text using your Athens ID and password. Different journals may have more than one point of access with differing results, so please try all options.
  • If these fail try search 2.

Search 2

  • Go to the library catalogue .
  • Search by A-Z journal name. Do we have the journal and the issue you require?
  • You may find that the journal can be accessed online from the catalogue.
  • If online access is possible, please use your Athens ID and password when requested to do so.
  • If the journal is available within Middlesex University in paper form, apply by this means .
  • If the journal is not held within Middlesex University, apply by this means.

Occasionally, you are given the option of paying for the article to be delivered to you. Do not take this option unless you want the material immediately. Send for it via the DLSU
