Students and staff can gain access to the university network from their own computers using wireless networking at the following campuses:

Archway

The Furnival Building:
Lecture Theatre and Ground Floor
Furnival 410 & 411,

Student Open Access area at Archway
Holborn Union Building :
Basement, Ground Floor and CETL - Mental Health & Social Work (2nd Floor)

Cat Hill

Peter Green Cafe seating area
Peter Green Foundation Studios 1 and 2
Peter Green VCD Studio (Finance Office end)

Hendon

Learning Resource Centre (Sheppard library)
Graduate Centre
College Building (quadrangle and atrium cafe)

Trent Park

Mansion Basement Café
Mansion Main Reception
Student Union First Floor


Learning Resources has provided comprehensive documentation explaining how to set up a laptop to use the wireless network. The documents can be found at:

You will need at least these two:

Wireless Network Access
Remote Network Access using VPN

Staff at Computing Helpdesks will be able to answer queries on wireless access but cannot set up laptops or PCs personally owned by staff or students.
